Affirmative Action Policy

At present, we implement a formal affirmative action policy. Broadly speaking, our present policy is to eliminate colour bars, gender and disability discrimination in the workplace, and to give preference to applicants emanating from previously disadvantaged communities. We devote considerable time and effort to in-house training of relevant personnel.

On average, we have always had more than 60% employees from said disadvantaged communities employed by us, many of which are now employed by the local authorities. View our latest Group Transformation Report for more information on our initiatives.
