Roy was appointed as a consultant at Mosdell, Pama & Cox in November 2019. His strong academic background and years of practical experience as a senior attorney in a large city firm make it possible for  him to assist  in a wide spectrum of legal matters.

After obtaining the degrees B Juris LLB at the University of Port Elizabeth (UPE) (now Nelson Mandela University) at the end of 1974, Roy lectured in the Law Faculty at UPE for a number of years. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Relations (cum laude) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Maritime Law, both from the University of Natal.

He was admitted as an attorney in 1982 and practiced as such for more than 35 years, briefly in Pretoria and thereafter in Durban where he held the position of Senior Director and Head of the Labour law Department in the Litigation Division of Livingston Leandy Inc, a leading Durban law firm, also specialising in commercial litigation and provincial tender disputes.

In March 2016 Roy retired to Plettenberg Bay, where he was born and raised. He was appointed as a consultant at Mosdell, Pama & Cox in November 2019 and his strong academic background and years of practical experience as a senior attorney qualify him very well to assist clients in finding solutions to a variety of legal problems.
