Mosdell Pama and Cox Knysna Inc and Mosdell Pama and Cox Plettenberg Bay Inc, as presently constituted, was established by Perino Pama and Elbie Burger in 1993, practising as Burger & Pama in Woodmill Lane, Knysna. Another law firm, Mosdell & Mosdell, was established shortly after, by Clifford Mosdell and Sue Mosdell.

The firms amalgamated in 1994, and opened an office in Plettenberg Bay in 1999. Appointed partner, Andrew Cox, joined the firm later that year, and in 2001, the firm was renamed Mosdell, Pama & Cox. Ten years later Perino Pama’s relocated the Plettenberg Bay office. Clifford Mosdell retired as a director in 2013. Celeste van Wyk was appointed as a director on 1st March 2021.
